Ottawa builds big, we think small.
The Minor Projects Office is a living catalogue of affordable, high-impact ideas for a more resilient, more liveable Canada.
Canada's political conversation has two settings right now: austerity, or mega-projects. Neither one describes the country most of us actually want to live in.
The Minor Projects Office is a third option. Modest ideas that improve quality of life with a federal price tag that doesn't require a pipeline to justify it. These aren't radical proposals, they're the kind of things that our communities could just do—and that a competent, confident country would support.
We're building a library. Five projects now, more to come.

We're collecting proposals from advocates, organizers, and policy thinkers across the country. The best ideas will be profiled and shared.
